We spent a wonderful week camped by the river. What a beautiful spot to stay.

Love the new website and news section!!

We discovered stowford manor about 3 years ago, and being cream tea enthusiasts we definatly give it 10 out of 10! And love the opening time of 3 til 6,it means you can have a nice trip out, say to the nearby castle, Iford, or westwood manor, then come here! Weve even met the grandparents here for a tea.
would like to try out the B&B sometime. really lovely, keep up the good work!

Just spent a wonderful 11 days at this gem of a site, it should have been 10 but we couldn't resist another night. The site is well located for touring but some days we were just content to sit about the site chatting the various groups of campers, there were quite a few Dutch when we were there.
The showers were the hottest we've come across and well worth the 50p.
The Cream Tea's are a delight and a must.
Cath and Phil(the owners) were always very pleasant and always stopped for a chat with every one.
There were always children (and some adults) in the adjoining river, even in the rain. We used the river to give our inflatables a run out. Make sure you take your camera if you do go out on a boat, the wild life makes for good pics.

We will be returning next year with out a doubt.
