Stowford Manor Farm

WELCOME

We are a family run farm situated in the beautiful Frome valley. The farm has a range of interests from the traditional Jersey milking cows to a community of workshops used by local craftsmen.  Cream teas are very popular locally and the river swimming is a huge attraction during the summer months!

The campsite gets very busy in the summer when it is advisable to book in advance.  This can be done efficiently via our online booking system.

We also have a number of crafts people working from the farm, some of whom run workshops.  There is also a farm education centre where children can attend 2 days a week.

We are only a five minute drive from the historic town of Bradford-on-Avon and within easy reach of the Georgian City of Bath, Longleat House and safari park and a gentle riverside stroll to the medieval Farleigh Castle A perfect base for country walks, cycling on the Kennet and Avon Canal or just enjoying the Somerset countryside.

"The campsite is surrounded by the River Frome, which makes it a wonderfully peaceful holiday spot.  The new washhouse has a very Grand Designs feel to it". (As featured in the Guardian Guide to Camping 2007)

The farm is part of Clubwifi, ensuring that everyone who wishes can access the internet.  Pre paid cards can be purchased for various amounts depending on your length of stay, or you can set yourself up online.

"There are campsites whose appeal is hard to define; one so simple that it can only be described as one that insils a sense of wellbeing in the folks that camp there" As featured in Cool Camping

"If Cath Kidston did holidays(and its only a matter of time) they would be in the model of Stowford Manor Farm- except that everything here is authentically country kitsch" The Guardian 2/6/12
